Prior to joining The Rosen Law Firm, Mr. Kim served as Assistant Corporation Counsel for the City of New York in the Special Federal Litigation Division. In that position, Mr. Kim defended a number of class action lawsuits and handled over 140 individual actions in Federal Court from inception to conclusion-- including high profile wrongful death and police shooting cases.  Mr. Kim also first chaired several jury trials. Mr. Kim focuses his practice on securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation.

Mr. Kim has a wealth of experience from vertically prosecuting securities class actions.  He played a significant role in the historic $250 million Alibaba Group Holdings Ltd. securities class action settlement the firm secured in 2019. Mr. Kim was also the lead lawyer in a number of significant recoveries including, $6 million In re Nature’s Sunshine Products, Inc. Securities Litigation, (D. Utah); $5 million Bensley v. Mr. Kim also served in leadership roles in shareholder derivative matters.  Recently, Mr. Kim was co-lead counsel for plaintiffs in Virginia state court and helped secure a $10 million cash payment for comScore and causing comScore to institute a vast array of reforms to its corporate governance.
